Quality Planning

The process of quality planning includes all activities for the identification of requirements & standards and its documentation, as well as measures to ensure compliance with the requirements and standards.

Cost of Quality

Organizations often have a general or permanent quality planning as well as project oriented planning following the specific requirements of a project.

Permanent Quality Management Plan

The introduction of a quality management system usually is a strategic decision by any kind of organization in order to continuously improve the management framework - and thus usually associated economic benefits.
The basic requirements in the quality managment system of an organization are defined in the DIN EN ISO 9001. To implement these requirements, the organization defines its objectives and adopts policies and procedures.
The strategic planning, policies, and procedures to implement the quality management system are set out in the permanent quality management plan.

Project Quality Management Plan

Project quality management includes the processes and activities of the performing organization that determine quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities so that the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken.
Project quality management uses policies and procedures to implement, within the project's context, the organization's quality management system and, as appropriate, it supports continous process improvement activities as undertaken on behalf of the performing organization.
Project quality management works to ensure that the project requirements and product requirements, are met and validated.(PMBOK� Fifth Edition)
